Take a closer look, can you see me ?

I’ve always been immensely fascinated with photography and the idea of saving a moment in time. But its photographers like Hengki Koentjoro who take it to a whole new level.

Through his own unique techniques and long exposure, he transforms the ordinary into something out of a fairy tale. His black and white images are so gorgeous that his subjects often seem suspended in space.

When asked about how he became the photographer that he is, heres what he had to say:
“My Mother gave me a Kodak Pocket camera when I was Eleven years old and I never look back ever since. I fell in love with the idea of preserving what I was seeing, and it was about the beginning of my love affair with photography. From that moment forward, I began documenting, photographically, the activities of my family, as well as the community surrounding me.”

one of my all time favorite movies during the nineties was scent of a woman, watching it recently inspired me to write this post, well not much of writing as much as its capturing photos.

each person has a favorite perfume that represents her/him whether its floral, fruity, musky.. etc

whats your favorite perfume and why?

ps: i would like to thank the girls that modeled for me and for bringing their favorite perfume. i loved this post and i will definitely make it as a continous post since new gorgeous beautifully smelling perfumes are launched all the time.

have a great day, lovingly Noon.

These stunning landscapes look so surreal its like they were taken on another planet!

The talented man behind the lens is Miles Miller, and his work speaks for itself, each photo looks perfectly balanced from color to composition.

Miles sometimes relies on Photoshop to enhance image quality or blend exposures.

“I enjoy spending time in the ‘digital darkroom’ almost as much as I do shooting, so many times my images would be considered more digital art than traditional landscape photographs,” says Morgan.

If you like his photographs, you can view more of his work on his website.

In the 20th anniversary of Empire Magazine (the largest selling film magazine in Britain) they published a special edition that was guest-edited by Steven Spielberg.

Under the title “The Birthday Portfolio”, Empire had an exclusive star-studded photo shoot that paid tribute to some of the most iconic moments in movies in the last 20 years (1989 – 2009). The 20th anniversary issue featured over 27 Hollywood stars reliving some of their famous performances in their normal everyday attire.

I know my birthday is more than one month away, but what can I do? If i want something so badly, I have to get right away & I know how to get it on time :D

As we have a Canon D55o, I thought why not try a new brand? If I like a brand, I never change it, so I was kinda reluctant to have this camera as my birthday gift but then I’ve read good reviews about it & said why not?

The Canon is very professional, we have around 3 super amazing lenses for it, & it’s big & heavy! I;ve always wanted a kinda professional camera but not that big & heavy! This one turned out to be the best choice.

Nikon Coolpix P510, is smaller than DSLR cameras, light & gives you super sharp photos with its 16.1 megapixels CMOS processing power.42x optical Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens. Built in GPS which automatically adds the location to your photos. Full HD 1080 movies, cool ha? Panorama mode which automatically combines photos to make 180 or 360 images (Can’t wait to try that :D

In general, it’s what I want & I like it. If you want alight camera for regular photography then this will be a very good choice ;)

Read more about it here: Nikon Coolpix P510

What’s inside the box? …

Ever imagined what the ancestors of superheroes would look like as if they had a father and mother who had the same abilities only they look much older. For instance, we know Batman’s father had nothing to do with gadgets and the suit but clever artists Carlo and Andrea Marvellini have given us a fictional glimpse of the past.

These two artists who happen to be brothers, have taken old vintage photos and added modern day super heroes onto them, the result is simply great and very believable. Obviously the characters are fictional to start with but these portraits add a lot more depth and history to them.

The manipulation of these images are top-notch, they not only replace their head but did tweaking and re-imagination of how suits would look like.Take a look at Darth Vader’s family, the helmet has open eye sockets! All in all, I think these are really great.

Today I tried ice cream by Helados Alacant provided by TIG, it was so refreshing especially with the weather getting warmer. They had various flavors to choose from, and I loved how their ice cream was inside actual fruit. It would be so refreshing to have this delivered to the chalet on the weekend!

They have Free delivery but I am not sure if they deliver to chalets
