I got news for facebook fans, now they can enjoy video chat with their friends after Mark Zuckerberg had unveiled that they will offer the new service soon in collaboration with Skype.

I have been to a few 3D movies this past year and I keep getting annoyed with the glasses they provide, some are better then others. It seems that someone else realized this and so Oakley made their own 3D glasses and this time around they have come out with a Transformers special edition glasses. I have always been thinking about getting my own 3D glasses but I was never sure if any 3D glasses can work with any movie theater. At this point I have been nudged just enough to get it because they made a Transformers addition, and in addition to that my hatred for the crappy lenses keep increasing. So for $150 you can have these cool 3D glasses and no need to use the germ infested ones from the theater.

Since getting the first Android phone I have loved the quick development of the OS and the variety of the phone, the updates were initially extremely annoying but they have gotten much better at it and more streamlined with more manufacturers on board with a larger variety of very cool powerful phones.
My last phone is the HTC Desire and I have banged up the phone until there isn’t much left of it. I have had my eye on the SE Xperia Arc since it was announced and especially since they would launch Android 2.3 Gingerbread with it, not like the mistake they made with the X10. The SonyEricsson Xperia line is a very beautifully designed line of phones, and the Arc caught my eye.
I did the migration between the HTC Desire to the Xperia Arc over a two week period, I wanted to get used to it and small differences between the HTC Sense customization to the Xperia customization, and I am a big fan of the HTC Sense UI so it took some time. Migrating the contact details, emails and usual settings took just 10 minutes. But I took my time migrating the programs, I wanted to see what kind of widgets it had preinstalled and then added the programs I like and the new ones I wanted. My old phone had a limited memory so I couldn’t add any more applications, I kept running out of memory so in this case it had a substantial amount of memory on the Xperia.
Some of the programs I installed:
After using the phone for a few weeks I’m impressed with what SonyEricsson have done and I hope they keep making some high quality phones such as these. The battery life is decent not great, I expected it to be better. The build quality is very nice, one solid piece, and I like the buttons on the bottom but sometimes I touch the screen instead of pressing the buttons which does something else. The feel of the phone is amazing, its very very light, sometimes I forget its in my pocket. The screen is huge, 4.2 inches is a lot of real estate that you can use, and the touch interface and keyboard is very good. The camera is 8MP with a very clear flash, it is seriously amazing, better then anything I would expect from a phone. Overall I think this is a fantastic phone and I love everything about it, except the battery capacity it needs to be doble what it is now
Recharging your portable devices and gadgetshas always been challenging work, especially if you’re always on the move. If that’s you, then you might want to check out this new device from nPower named PEG.

As all the geeks and gadget lovers are in love with every device that’s given a Steampunk look, then this concept is strictly made to suite your tastes. Victorian laptop concept, as it is tagged, is the most beautiful craftsmanship revealing the stylish looks and creative use of technology
Unlike any other laptops, this one has a beautiful wooden box covering by Jeremy Hopkin, with a Hewlett-Packard ZT1000 laptop with a 15? active matrix screen, while the keyboard and the touchpad are made of copper. Using the leftovers of all the clock pieces and broken or old watches, an antique key is created to switch on this device, just something that looks similar to the keys on a musical box.
to make the usage easy, it also has a leather wrist pad and decorative gears with a glass top. Going for a retro look, this laptop’s speaker grills are crafted like the F-holes of a violin, that’s covered with a black cloth, behind which rests the main power switch in the center.
Going towards the technical features, this laptop has the capacity of 512 MB ram, 40 GB HD, CD/DVD drive, while a copper button is used to open the optical drive. Thus, while the wooden box is closed, this masterpiece looks just like an antique with a classic look, and well, you can consider it as one given its steampunkish looks.

I came to know that VIVA had completed the 1st phase for optimizing its network toward achieving the 4G.
The 4G allows faster internet, higher quality signals and greater security for mobile wireless phones and computers. Also, when I visited Zain city, I tried the fastest internet in Kuwait till this moment, the LTE (Long Term Evolution), which is last step toward the 4G.
The operator told me that LTE allows 100 MB/s download speed, but the actual testing got us about 60-70 MB/s:
Nevertheless, I never saw HD YouTube videos play this much fast, I can only imagine the speed of the 4G. The big question is who will launch the 4G technology first ?
We got our hands on Sony Xperia Play phone, or as known as “Playstation Phone” at Zain city expo. I wrote about this phone before, but I wanted to get my hands on it and see if its a real Playstation.
I loved the design, and how it slides and become exactly like a Playstation joypad ! It even has back (L & R) buttons, and the graphics look amazing.
As for specs, it based on Android OS, has LED dispaly, 4″ multi-touch screen with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, and 512 MB RAM and processor speed is 1 GHz.
Also the size and weight were reasonable, 119 x 62 x 16 mm and weighs 175 g. We played the classic game Crash Bandicoot, and it was fun ! The internal memory is 400 MB and with 32 GB SD.
It also has 5MP camera, I find Sony Xperia Play a phone with potentials and a very amusing game play console !
He was made out of a crashed bomber. George, the robot, was stashed away in the maker’s garage and now, after 45 years, has made a comeback as a better ‘person.’
Tony Sale, RAF officer and spy catcher, was just 19, when he built one of the first humanoid robots of Britain. It was soon after Second World War that in 1950, that George was invented from the scraps of a Wellington bomber plane that crashed. All it cost him in making that six foot high robot, was fifteen pounds then. George was man-sized and amazing; he could walk and talk, and lumbered and shuffled his feet to move slowly. The world was stunned.
His eyes had light sensitive cells and two batteries of the motorcycle powered him. It was up to 30 feet that he could function by moving an arm, sitting down, turning his head and walking. Attention of the press was caught and he was pictured moving the lawn, helping in carrying the shopping and hanging around. It was this lifelike nature of George that the public were impressed about.
