The Meat Co. at 360 Mall remains as a one of my favorite restaurants when I think of steak. I was there last night and I noticed that they have introduced a new menu with more items such as skewer with brown meat, New Yorker carpaccio, prawn pie, among other new dishes.

Today we were invited for drinks and ice creams tasting session by “Scoop a Cone” at their Bairaq shopping mall branch. First, I loved the idea that Scoop a Cone is 100% Kuwaiti and uses natural ingredients.
We were requested taste and give our impressions on a variety of a new ice creams and ice coffee drinks, which they will soon launch, and it was fun !
What I did before the tasting session ? Well, I didn’t have my lunch and cut on my daily calories because I knew there is a lot of sugar involved and I wanted to give my best feedback.
Just looking at their new drinks made me drool, literally ! I can’t wait for the release date and taste them again.
I really wish to give you more details on the new drinks and describe the sinfully-delicious taste in detail, but little patience my friends. Mean while, enjoy the photos and share with us any feedback :)

Myself and a friend of mine wanted to meet at a nice relaxing cafe, so we decided to try Hotel Missoni’s “Choco Cafe” at Salmiyah. The cafe was soft opened couple months ago and will officially open on 25th of this month.
The cafe had nice outdoor sittings, though we preferred the in-door sitting due to the weather condition. The interior looked amazing and colorful, the decorations are similar to the hotel.
The cafe is Italian and the staff were all from Italy too, and they were nice and friendly.
The tables and chairs were comfortable and had fancy colors. I picked the menu and I saw that they had a variety of hot drinks (Coffee, mocha, espresss..etc), cold drinks, club sandwiches, sweets, salads, cakes..etc.
The language was a little barrier, but with the help of the staff I managed to understand. We picked hot mocha, Giardino aromatizzato (whew that was hard ! Its a fresh pomegranate with cinnamon, lemon,almond), turky sandwich, and croissant.
All were tasty, and the cafe was relaxing. The prices were little high, but we were enjoyed our time, and I recommend you to visit it when you seek for a little change.

I’m a big lover of espresso, which is basically a concentrated beverage brewed by forcing hot water under pressure through finely ground coffee. So while being at 360 Mall, I paid a little visit to “Nespresso Boutique” located at first level.
They had many coffee makers, and I’m considering to get one for my morning coffee, but I wanted to try to use them first to see if they are user-friendly.
I liked their latest coffee maker “Pixie”, it was small, comes in nice colors and very simple to use as you have seen in my video. The price is 90 K.D. and the coffee ground can be delivered to your home step.
The taste was a killer ! and there were different types of coffee available (sour, medium) depending on your taste.

Our friend sent us a photo for what it seems like BOUNTY drink sold at Lulu Hyper Market for 1.250 K.D, I know expensive ! I’m familiar with Galaxy drink but this one is new, at least to me.
I like the BOUNTY chocolate and I wonder how the drink version tastes like, have any of you tasted it ?

For some reason I went to the market yesterday to get some KDD ice cream, I prefer ice cream over chocolates, but I couldn’t find the classic KDD Burgan ice cream, so I asked the salesman about it, and he said KDD changed Burgan to “Blitz” and introduced new packaging.
I felt like million of lovely childhood memories gone in matter of seconds 
Ok I like the new shape and taste is remain delicious but I also miss the childhood memories.
The main Buffalo’s branch in Salmiyah, which is located opposite to the scientific center on the inland side of the Gulf road, was one of my favorite restaurants in Kuwait, but it was closed a few years ago for re-decorating. Well last night, I boticed that its almost completed and when I spoke with the management they said they will open mid of May, 2011 
They also said it will have two levels and that it will have fancy interior.
I came to know that Cherriez have started home-delivery couple months ago, so today at “Diwaneya” I saw their take-away menu and decided to give them a quick try.
Their menu had great photos and was simple too. I chose the medium original yogurt of course, and the strawberry flavored yogurt. I liked how they had several toppings to choose from and they allow more toppings than other yogurt shops, cool !
I called them and they said their have home-delivery service covers areas up to the 5th ring road, luckily I was within the range. The order total was 5.250 K.D, which is cheaper than the others that I tried.
It took them about 40 minutes to arrive.
They used ice to keep the yogurt fresh and cool, smart. I tasted the original, and my friends tried the strawberry, and we really liked what we tasted.
The yogurt was little melted but the taste was one of the best that I have tried
