Tomorrow will mark the first day for Kuwait’s most popular electronics/telecom expo, InfoConnect, at Kuwait International Fair and extends for a week.

I always enjoyed visiting InfoConnect expo where people could find really great deals, but I’ve noticed in the recent years that its not like before, we want to see the latest things technology has reached plus more variety and more companies.

I was at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) this morning and I found that they now offer free Wi-Fi internet at most of its branches for men and ladies, such as main office, Faiha, Salmiya, Keifan, Fahaheel, and Jahra.

I find this very helpful, and hopefully other banks, restaurants and cafe’s do the same.

A friend of mine told me about a cool iPhone 4 application called iSeeker that helps you find it in case you forgot where you put it, it happens to me a lot but with this litte app problem is solved once and for all.

To get it search iTunes or appstore for iSeeker.

Today I read on the paper that the ability to transfer mobile numbers between the three carriers in Kuwait was postponed till the end of 2012 and their reasoning is that the implementation needs more time. I was waiting patiently for the number transfer, but seemingly this is taking forever.

I recall a few months ago Wataniya Telecom had made a huge campaign about numbers transfer, I’m sure many wish to change their carriers but they just don’t want to get a new number. My opinion is that we really need a telecom authority in Kuwait to facilitate the process.

My friend on Facebook had shared with me a video for what it seems like iPhone 5 web page on Apple website, they claim that web page was immediately removed by Apple company. The specs include A5 Dual-Core chip, 8 MP camera with Full 1080p HD, 4.2 inch screen with resolution of 960 x 640. It also seems slimmer than iPhone 4, though I highly doubt the credibility.

I installed the awaited Cinescape iPhone application. First I liked the idea that its free, the application has the basic services as Cinescape website such as movies booking by selecting the theater, or to search by movie, search by date or time. It supports both Arabic, English and Hindi languages.

It also provides you with the coming soon movies, now showing, and theaters location on the map. There’s also an added section for Complaints and Suggestions, which is good idea.

Finally, there are links for Cinescape on Facebook and Twitter. To find the application, search appstore with the name “cinescape”.

My only remark is that I wish they considered the Android users.

I just downloaded the new Mercedes-Benz Albisher & Kazemi new iPhone application. The free application allows you to book a test-drive for any Mercedes model, it also provides you with service centers, latest offers and newest Mercedes models and prices.

I wish all other car agencies in Kuwait develop their iPhone application, but I’m still wondering why they don’t consider the Android users ?

The Canadian smart phone manufacturer “RIM” had launched the latest edition to BlackBerry family, BlackBerry – Bold Touch 9900/9930. The bold was the most favorable BlackBerry by many, including myself.

I noticed that some of the new specs include: 1.2 Ghz processor, 768 MB ram, 5mp camera, OS 7, 8 GB internal storage memory, LED flash, 2.8 in touch screen, 720 HD video recording. Now comes the big question: Will it survive among the iPhone & Android phones ?

We had our hands on the new BlackBerry Playbook, it was released yesterday at X-CITE and electrozan, the price was 219 K.D. In my review I tried my best to sum up all the features and specs.
